WHAT IS PLASMA FIBROBLAST?
Most people interested in anti-aging understand the terms collagen and elastin. They are proteins that are abundant in our bodies when we are young, but which deplete over time leading to lax skin and wrinkles. Many have never heard the term fibroblast but they are actually the cells in our skin’s connective tissue which, when stimulated, produce healthy collagen.
It must be understood that every truly effective anti-aging treatment works because it causes some measure of controlled dermal wound to induce the skin’s own natural repair process. When done in a clinical setting with this innovative device, the repair process leads to tighter skin causing lines and wrinkles to relax or flatten. In addition melanocytes are activated to even out skin tone and address things like age spots and sun damage.
The plasma fibroblast pen hovers over the skin, sending an electrical current which serves to create micro-wounds that foster resurfacing. The device works well on large and small concern areas.
Following treatment, the skin looks dotted and will feel crusty and somewhat swollen for a few days as it heals. While gentler that more invasive treatments, the efficacy of plasma fibroblast is in the power generated to stimulate healthy skin rejuvenation, therefore resulting in slightly more down time than with, for example, micro needling or mesotherapy. Yet healing is far more expedient than with aggressive laser treatments and even chemical peels. Single session results are what make plasma fibroblast an excellent choice for affordable anti-aging skin renewal.
